Franchisees will typically need to invest up to 40-50% of the investment for a Too Hotties franchise out of their own capital. What is the franchise fee?

The franchise fee is $25,000.

What is royalty? Why is it charged?

Too Hotties has a royalty of 6% charged on the total gross revenue of the business generated by the franchisee. A royalty is standard practice in the franchise business and is used to keep the franchisor strong, maintaining and creating ongoing programs, and improvements to the systems that improve the company and allows the franchise chain to continue to grow, thus growing recognition of the brand name.

What is the advertising fee?

The advertising fee is a fee collected from both corporate and franchise branches on gross revenues that is pooled and spent on advertising in a powerful and focused way. Too Hotties charges an AD fund fee of 2% of total gross revenue and pools it to pay for national TV, and magazine and newspaper advertising, as well as internet driven advertising which directly supports the franchisees and promotes the brand name.

Do I need any previous experience in the hair industry?

The beauty of franchising is that you can take your experience from whatever background you come from and marry it with the experience of a franchisor. The franchise agreement is a ten year agreement that generally follows the term of the lease.

Who builds, equips, and merchandises the store?

Too Hotties has a design team who will layout the store based on the size of the location. It is then built to spec with design standards specific to the brand. Too Hotties has a “Store in a Box” build-out program available which streamlines the build-out process.

What training is provided?

The new Too Hotties franchisee will undergo two weeks of intensive training, both classroom and instore, covering all aspects of the Too Hotties franchise business from merchandising, customer service, cash management, advertising, promotions, opening and closing procedures. After the original training, there is ongoing support for the life of the franchise.

Are there any stores in the US?

Too Hotties has stores now operating successfully in Springfield, MO, Addison, TX, Cedar Park, TX, Austin, TX, Las Vegas, NV, Columbia, SC, Tampa, FL, and Phoenix, AR, with stores opening soon in Kansas City, MO, Overland Park, KXS, and Arlington, VA.

How long does it take to open the store after signing franchise agreements?

This can vary depending on the site and when the site is available for Too Hotties to begin construction. On average, the franchisee can count on five months after signing the franchise agreements. Franchisees who elect to use our Store In A Box program will be able to open their stores much faster than the national average.

Can I own more than one store?

The mark of an excellent franchise is the rate at which franchises own more than one location. Too Hotties has a multiple center program that encourages successful franchises to purchase another store or stores by reducing the franchise fee for each successive store.

Do I need to work in my store?

Relationships are a key element of success in this industry. A well-trained manager needs to oversee the day to day operations of the shop or Groomplex or the owner, or a family member can do it.

How much money will I make?

Profitability varies greatly depending on a number of factors including sales, location, capacity and operating costs as well as the ability of the franchisee to manage and control the business. Once you choose an available area, your exclusive territory will be determined based upon demographics such as population, as well as distance from other franchisees.
